Default t-5 on vortec 6000????

ive got a guy thatll sell me a vortec 6000 complete with everything for $800. my problem is i dont want to have to buy a new transmission. if i go easy on it for the time being, is it possible to use the borg-warner t-5 out of a 91 RS on the vortec engine?
if it helps it has a TBI 305

I'm pretty sure it'll bolt right up. What year is the Vortec? You'll need the wiring harness and the computer for the Vortec motor also.

the motor is out of a late 90s early 00s 2500. the motor doesnt come with a computer but i knew that so if i go for it i plan on using a standalone computer

according to a camaro shop i talked to in miami florida, the t5s that were in the 82-92 camaros holds about 305 lb ft of torque...if i take it easy that should hold. right????

I think it'll hold for awhile. It'll blow eventually. But any trans would eventually. The Vortec may not bolt to the motor mounts, but im almost 100% positive that it will bolt to the trans.

ok...the motor mounts arent that big of an issue as i can probably fab something up...but i figured it wasnt the brightest of ideas to jimmyrig the tranny on

as far as the computer and harness goes...if the harness is still intact, is it possible to take the computer off any vortec motor, for instance a 4300 or 3800, and use a programmer to adapt it to the 6000
