Hey guys, I got this 1981 Chevy Caprice from my buddy. His dad built it, swapped in an olds 455, bored .030 over, heads were milled and ported. I believe he had it dynoed at 410 horse rear wheel. After sitting for 15 years I bought it for 400 bucks... unfortunately I was unaware it only had 1 quart of oil in it. Needless to say, the lifters are shot, piston rings are gone, and half the gaskets are cracked and no good. I currently have new lifters, next on the list is pushrods and piston rings, also gonna buy a regasket kit for it. After she's back together I'm going to slap on my gtp38r Garrett turbo, 88mm. I'm lookin for advice on blowing the 455, what should I look into as far as boost controller, BOV, boost referenced fuel pressure regulator, blow through carb, etc.? lookin for around 10 psi for now.
