i have a 1991 caprice with the 5.0 EFI V8 and my fuel tank is cracked. i found a guy thats parting out a '93 but im not sure which size engine it has. my question is would it be an OE fit or do the tanks require different sending units??? any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Take the sending unit from the 91 and put it in the tank from the 93 before installing it. Better yet buy a new one to save doing the work again when the old one fails.

 

thanks but it doesnt matter now some a**hole tried to make a turn while i had a green light and we totalled our cars now im looking at a 95 caprice without a motor and thinking about pulling the 305 outta mine and dropping it in the 95
