i just got the car and wont hold a charge i have put new altanater and battery but still wont hold a charge i hve no clue what i should do about it any help would be great thanks

 

u have a short, do u have any particular fuse that blows on a regular basis? (if u dont want to trace the wire that is shorting, just put in a night switch)

 

There is something in your car that is on and draining your battery..Trunk , hood light etc.
Remove one of your battery terminals, NEG , and see if you get a small arcing when you make a light contact with them..Or use a meter across the terminals...If you do, then you are drawing power from the battery. That is if everything is turned off.. Remove one fuse at a time and check for arcing.Once it stops you know that that system is the problem..
