Accelerator Cable Issues / Too Long
Hi all
My First Thread wooooo!
I was wondering if any bright spark has a cure for this issue i currently have, I have recently completely stripped by 305 '84 Caprice Classic as I soon found out after buying it that it was a death trap. Whilst doing this i thought it was the perfect time to update to a 350 block & naturally a few other extras. Now however i am clueless about something sooo simple its kind of embarrassing.. the accelerator cable
So I purchased a new one as the old one was worn down, they look identical next to each other but upon installing it there seems to be a 'kink' or warp in the cable which does not sound pretty at all when using it as if its catching on itself, am i forgetting something or is this an easy fix by cutting the plastic down on it?
I just dont want to wreck it and have to buy another one
any help i would .. well i would be very happy indeed, thank you
