Hi, I recently bought a '88 Caprice Classic. I'm considering yanking the non-functional factory air conditioning. I'm also hoping to find a heater control unit in something other than a woodgrain finish without A/C controls. Would the non-A/C unit be a direct replacement for the one I have (same plugs, etc), or would there be some custom work involved?
