So I bought a 79 caprice, and the body was in great condition. I rebuilt a 350 and dropped it in with a 700 trans. The car runs great. The only downside is the interior. The whole interior is baby blue, and I am definitely not a fan at all. The seats are in good condition, but I intend on having them reupholstered to black. I found a black carpet kit (the original one is half missing somehow), but i need new door panels and a headliner, however I have no idea where to look. None of the junkyards remotely close to me have any 77-79s. So I was wondering were to get interior parts, or if I have to have an upholstery shop make custom ones. Id appreciate the insight. Thanks.
