The car runs great, has had front fenders replaced, a scuff and puff paint job (original color). The interior is very good and the vinyl top is immaculate.

Just put full stock exhaust on yesterday.

Does anyone here have experience in servicing the transmission?

There is a substantial momentary chatter when downshifting out of overdrive on acceleration.

I am planning to have it serviced professionally but am just wondering if anyone has been through this.

new guy to the forum.. im on a lot of the 3800 forums as my past two cars were grand prix gtp's.. but heres my 87 caprice classic picked up a week ago for 650 :-) 305 engine.. either wanna swap it or build this one up..
