I contacted the guy's at Modern Driveline for the Transmission Conversion Kit. I'm tired of putting my car into D to drive...all my other vehicles are factory manuals. I'm super excited about the conversion kit has anybody done this to their Caprice's? I have a 1968 Chevrolet Caprice 4 Door sedan. I do have the numbers matching 327, but due to a slight fuel line malfunction I have it being rebuilt. In the meantime I swapped it with a GM Performance 350HO Turn Key Crate engine. I love it and probably won't switch back to the 327 unless I do a Pro-Street Build for it. That being said I want to put a T56 Magnum in the car. The powerglide is just fine, but I'm probably going to sell it even though its the numbers matching transmission. I have no interest in the car being an automatic anymore. I'm very mechanically inclined, and have my own shop, so I will be doing this conversion myself. Any tips on tranny swap members where should I have a new balanced driveshaft manufactured. Thank You!
