I bought a car I found on the side of the road while working construction in Gonzales, Texas.

assistance needed please:
firing order,
diagram for plug wires from distributor to plugs (someone cut a few of the wires.,,
what is the metal fuel filter device with wires prior to the fuel filter on the fuel line,
recommendations for cleaning the fuel tank?

 

1-8-4-2, sheesh I cannot remember. The intake manifold will have the firing order. As far as the distributor cap plug wires go, as long as you follow the firing order looking at the distributor from the top clockwise you are good. Set #1 cylinder at compression tdc that's the first cylinder passenger side with the spark plug wires in proper firing orders on the cap ( 1-3-5-7 on passenger side) with the points breaking, that will be sparking order.
