Default Rochester Carb

Hi guys, need to understand something.
As you can see carb is leaking fuel on the fuel fitting.
Someone has tried welding the fitting as u can see.
Question is, if I buy a new fuel fitting, there is a nut on the fuel line that screws on the fuel fitting. When I unscrew it will I be able to reuse the nut attached to the fuel line?

Yes. It is a flared fitting that will remain attached with the fuel line.I recommend a fitting wrench, as you can see the flats on the nut are some what rounded.

Do you know what size the fitting wrench needs to be?

5/8 ". There is supposed to be a filter in there behind the fuel line, but it looks like it's been jacked with.

Yeah from the research I did also found that out. Thanks!
BTW anywhere to buy fuel line pump to carb? Or can u can convert to rubber fuel hose?
I say this because at a 90 degree bend on the fuel line there is a small kink..

I'd use the steel line to carb, and the opposite end. Hose clamp with gasoline line in between.
