Default 2007 Captiva - Ambient sensor not working

I have 2007 Chevy Captiva and the problem is that car DIC doesn't display outside temperature (it shows "F").

I checked the sensor with a multimeter and it looks ok - I get 2.2 kOhms and when I apply some heat to a sensor readings goes down, which means that the sensor is good.

Is there anything else that can cause this problem except a bad sensor? What else can I check?
