My wife's captiva has the 2.4L with 145k miles on it and it recently started throwing a P219A code. I opened the live data and found that the #2 cylinder was misfiring around 47 times per drive cycle. I changed all of the plugs and switched that coil out with a cylinder that had no misfires but there was no change. The #2 cylinder still misfires the same amount.

I'm thinking injector but before I go throwing parts at it i thought I would ask the people who know.

What was the solution?

 

It was the intake cam actuator if I remember correctly. Had to get rid of that car. It developed a rediculous amount of blow by.
