Default 2016 Captiva

Please advise. We have a Captiva 2016. Upon diagnosis on 2023 it says EBCM needs to be replaced. Fast forward to 2025 (after my dad passed away and have to take care of this car), I saw ABS warning, engine warning, slope not working warning. These warnings were there since those last two diagnosis where it said, EBCM failure. My family said they were advice to buy new ABS MODULE which is costly, but I don’t mind as long as this problem will get fixed. The problem is after researching online, EBCM and abs are two different things. Most of the places Ive asked nearby me, said it is the ABS problem, unlike the internet said, ECBM can trigger ABS warnings. So what should I do now, re-diagnose (go back to the chevrolet), or just ask them to order ABS directly. PLEASE NOTE that Chevrolet service centers
are far away from my city like a few hours away, also, abs part is not available with them and have to do preorder that takes a month or so. To save time, should I just pay downpayment for abs and let them order so that next booking will be for re-diagnose and abs fixing (coz 2 years ago this was the advice by the chev to buy the abs, not sure if it applies now). I guess all im asking is, is EBCM same as abs for captiva 2016? Or any advice you could give me on what to do? Thank you so much for your time reading this.
