Alternative Repair Manuals
Hello, New to the Forum.
Asking about a 2013 Chevy Captiva.
This car was originally sold under many names, most recently in the US as a Saturn Vue.
Chilton and Haynes do not make a Service Manual for this vehicle, and Chevy sells the Service Manual for $200.
Anybody know how accurate a Saturn Vue Service Manual would be for this vehicle?
I assume some details would be different, possibly the motor details and any Chevy proprietary parts.
Is is worth getting to have general repair info on the vehicle?

not as detailed as a shop manual. Sure, back in the day, spending $20-25 dollars on a Chilton or Haynes manual was common.
But now it's quite easy to find the information on your vehicle these days on the Internet, Youtube, and many other places for
zero cost, other then time, which you have to use reading a manual anyhow.
