Default Captiva 2.2 flatspot after turbo replacement

Hi all

I need some help here with a 2.2 captiva. a month ago the turbo blew with oil everywhere in the intake. Had the turbo replaced and everything cleaned by now the car has a massive flatspot on pull off. The odd thing is if you lift your foot and plant it back down again, the car goes normally. This is only when coming to a stop. I replaced the AFM just in case as the car ran fine when i unplugged it but went back to square one when i put the new one in. The other odd thing is that if you putt a vacuum hose off, the car runs fine as well.
