Hi to all fellow chevy peers, just would like to know if anyone experienced hearing a loud humming sound (like a plane taking off) when running 80 kph and above. I have this irritating noise that I hear from the right side with my chevy captiva 2015 2.4L FWD LT model.

 

Welcome from Florida. From what you are describing, I would say your noise is from right side CV axle or bearing.

 

Thanks for that... Well I went to the garage and they'd check on all the tires by rolling it freewheel and seems to find the sound is coming right on the wheel bearing of the rear right tire. They'd let me hold the knuckle arm while turning the tire, got a little cracking sound. Hope sound will go after the bearing replacement.
