I have a 2012 Captiva with automatic climate control. The problem that I have been having is that I can't get the middle **** to incrementally change the air temperature blowing out of the vents. The car only has 2 temps, full burn your toe and singe your leg hair hot and ice cold. You have to turn the **** all the way to the left or right to change it. It doesn't matter whether or not I am using the automatic setting. I am wondering if anyone has had this problem. I see that I can buy a new control unit, but I am worried the problem may be more downstream away from the control unit.
