02 4 Door - 3 of 4 Windows Don't Work
I just picked up this car a week ago, everything seemed to work except the windows. (Which was better than my previous vehicle I just traded up from).
The front passenger window is the only one that works correctly, it goes down, and goes up.
The other three won't move at all. It's NOT acting like the dieing motor where it goes down but only goes up an inch every few minutes. They just simply won't move.
I've tried the master control on the center console, and the buttons on the back doors, and neither will work.
I took the car to a junkyard, and they didn't have any Cavy's or Sunfire's with 4 Power Windows. I found an Oldsmobile that had a master switch in the door, that fit in the center console, and the plugs matched up, but it wouldn't power any of the windows, (not even the one that worked).
What could my problem be? Is it in the master switch? The other switches? The wiring? Or are just all three motors bad?
A new master switch from Autozone is going to cost $129.
