Morning all. Lov the forum first time poster. I was wondering if someone could help me out. I got a good deal on a 2003 cavalier. Plane janer. The front Springs were broken so I replaced the entire front struts assemblies. Now since I did that it seems like there is a rubbing noise that I can't figure out. Sounds like the tires are rubbing something yet there is no evidence on the tires. What could this be? I also replaced the tires with good winter rubber. I had the skins replaced before I did the struts an I do not recall the rubbing sound. If anyone can help me out on what to check to get this solved that would be great. Thanks in advance

 

Did you install struts with the correct size springs? Are the tires wider than recommended. The inside of the tires could be rubbing on the spring if they are not correctly matched.
