03 Chev cavalier 5 speed. I found a leak in the master cylinder to slave hydraulic connection hose.. I found an expensive replacement part. I got the old hose released on the slave cylinder end, but am having crazy difficult time accessing the release clip on the master cylinder connection. Its kind of crammed tight against the engine bay wall. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this? Is there a trick or do I have to remove the whole master cylinder to get access to that connector?

 

If its not accessible in the engine bay, you will have to remove the MC from the car. Yeah its a PITA but its gotta be done.
