I have an 03 Chevy Cavalier and just had the timing chain replace and it runs good but know the engine overheats and there is no water in the upper hose that goes in to the engine. I even took the hose off and ran the engine until it got hot and no water came out the hose. but before the timing chain was replace it never over heated. any Ideas would be greatly appreciated

 

the chain for the water pump is run off a gear driven by the timing chain. Sounds like the water pump isn't turning...take it back to who ever serviced it.
