ok well i just got this 91 caviler for $100 and theres something wrong with the tranny its a 5spd. but anyways when the cars off i can change the gears but when the cars running i cant change the gears its stuck in that one gear anyone know whats wrong with it???

 

I would hardly call myself an expert, but I have the same problem with 1990, and when I opend the cap on the top of the clutch master cylinder, the thing was bone dry....I am near posotive I have a bad clutch master cylinder, because I refilled it, and drove it for about 30 mins, and it did the same thing, and this time the hole cylinder is coverd in fluid and the thing is bone dry again...
