Take the timing cover off and see if the makes line up

ok thanks everryone for your input it has really helped

im draining the coolant today and then taking the cover off ill let everyone know how it goes later today hopefully no bent valves

because i removed the surge tank to make it easier to get to the timing chain and motor mount lol and it needed new coolant for winter anyway......

anyway i got the chain on and it runs great now the exhaust camshaft skipped a couple teeth ........
