Our cavalier is overheating really bad. I pulled and installed a new thermostat and this did not help. I then put in a new water pump--still no help. I read on here to bleed the heater core lines of air and I did a little bit but still no help.

The car runs like a charm and won't miss at all. All seems ok except it just gets really hot.

What could I check next. Is there any type of censor that controls the heat??

Help needed please.

do the fans turn on when it gets hot?
check fuses and switch the fan relays with the horn relay to see if the fan comes on if it doesn't already
