I have a really nice 2000 Cavalier Z24 that I would like to hop up a little bit by adding parts to the engine, don't want a louder exhaust, any suggestions?

 

zzp performance has some great stuff for the ecotec….maybe they have quad4 engine stuff to? google quad4 and see what comes up

 

best thing if you dont want to open the exhaust is get a tune. the stock exhaust can only support a certain amount of power (not sure on your application) before it becomes counter active. the more power you make the more exhaust gasses you have to push out
