Default 2001 cavalier no power at all

Hi I started my car this morning in -23c no problem. It warmed up and took me to my destination about 5k away. I turned it off to change keys and then tried to restart it. Nothing, no clicky click no lights no power lock just silence. I tried the usual wiggle of the battery cable and just for the heck of it tried to boost it but there is absolutely no power. Any ideas?

Side terminal battery? Check the ends of the battery cables for corrosion. And, yes, they can go just like that.

Id try a new battery it seems to be a battery problem. It could just be old, corroded, or got frozen.
