2001 Cavalier Shift **** replacement

Has any one replaced the manual ****? If so, how do you remove the old and will a universal one fit since it has the reverse safety mechanism?

Go with the RKsport.com Shorty Shifter its expensive but it comes with the reverse and is much more fun to drive!
