Default 97 z24 dash gauge problem

I replaced my rear drums, brakes, and hubs a few months ago and then I started having problems with the car starting. now after replacing the TPS and front brakes while driving the gauges on the dash go from normal running to acting like the car had been turned off also the orange indicator that shows what gear the car is in goes from being bright to very dim. Here is a link to my video of what is going on.

My 2002 gauges went nuts and i put a jumper ground from one side of the top motor to the other side of that mount. ie frame to block ground.

Is your ground wire perhaps broken now?

I knew were it was on my 87 z24 v6. I don't remember looking for it on my 2002 z24.

So I found the negative battery cable needed replaced the old one was two separate parts connected to a ground on the battery box. I replaced the negative cable with out grounding it to the battery box however it is grounded to the engine block itself and I am still having the same problems with gauges but now when using my headlights at night they are very dim along with the dash lights and my radio either doesn't work or it goes off and on like there is a wire that's not connected.

Anyone have any ideas?
