Default 98 cav overheating and blows cold air?

ok i have a 98 cav 2.2 just replacet the radiator and has a new water pump also. my girlfirend was driving to work today n calls me sayin the cars over heating like the temp gadge is all the way up and blows cold air its not low on coolant and she said it wasnt leaking. idk would it just be a thermostate or head gasket or? idk anybody have an idea that would be sweet let me know thanks

Since you have already started down my path, try reading this thread i started in 10/23/ 2011, it may save some time and give you an idea of what to do next. Use the "Search" at the top of this page for " 2002 still getting hot after changing everything "

my first thought is an air pocket, why were the radiator and waterpump replaced
