So I thought that I ordered the correct size shoes and drums for my 2001 cavalier. I realized that two different brake drum and shoe sizes exist, but from what I can tell, I ordered the smaller and correct size. Now that it doesn't seem to fit, as no matter what I do, I can't fit the new drum over the new shoes no matter how much I try to adjust them.
So my question is, how can I lookup to see if I have the correct size brakes for this car? I tried to enter my VIN# on various OEM part sites, yet they all point to the slightly smaller brakes. Any help?
