2001 2.2 cavalier. Was having a/c issues a few weeks cold air only blew when was actually driving. When stoped it sounded like compressor would cut on and off and blew hot air. Now car will crank but wont start. I'm sure issues are unrelated but hoping to kill two birds with one stone. Could a bad alternator cause both issues. Or is it more Likely that I have a bad fuel pump and a separate issue with a/c. Anyone with this experience?

 

No start Issue is fixed replaced the fuel pump still have the a/c issue will update after

 

Check the freon level.
