Default a/c problems and trouble codes

Cavalier has a 2.2 engine...trouble codes p0118 and p0530. When the engine is on the compressor seems to not move and the belt isn't on it either. Is that normal. A/c light turns on but turns off later on. And also the fan doesn't turn on at all. Relay is fine but I'm guessing the motor is done. Bought the connector for the pressure sensor on the a/c line....will this help? And also I'm installing a new ect sensor soon. Can any of these be the causes? Any help would be appreciated.

When you put in refrigerant, also put in UV dye and then you can check for leaks and easily see them with a black light

Hopefully this works out for you
