I'm having a small issue right now with my car while its in park. The car will have a sort of rumbling, with no jump in rpm. If you put the car in drive and are sitting still, nothing happens. The car accelerates properly, but does have its times where it sort of has a somewhat hard shift, its always had that issue. I haven't had a check engine light on for anything in forever, its not burnt out either.


I have an 02 cavalier.

I just installed spark plugs but wasn't sure if they were installed properly. I also gapped them to .40 according to a hanes manual.

 

well what brand of plugs did u use??? some cars dont run the same without the factory brand plug......other than that until the vehicle throws a trouble code (which "should" turn the check engine light on) it would be hard to diagnose the problem....
