I've got 3 cavaliers. Two 95's (1 is auto trans and convertible the 2nd is a standard trans RS) and a 97 (standard trans and 2.2l motor) all 3 cars have between 160000-290000km. 2 are in good shape and run but the RS is parked and in pieces (but in spectacular condition and kept indoors) i plan on using the 95 rs to do the build as its in the best shape with lowest km and an old friend was already builiding it. Any and all advice welcomed. Is there anything that isn't interchangeable between the Two years? (Mechanical wise) And is the RS the best choice for my build? My goal is to make it a sleeper but I'm looking for some advice on what performance parts to use and what parts are worth doing. Can I swap the motor? What exhaust system works the best? What headers to use? What pulleys should I use? How to change the gearing? Will a turbo or supercharger be worth it or will i blow the motor? ( keep in mind i have 3) Has anyone done a similar build? What do you think it will top out at and what kind of HP do you think I'll be pushing? Again all and any advice is appreciated!
