Ok fellas, I have a question. Can I do an engine swap on a 98 z24 convertible that had the crappy 2.4 twin cam with another crappy 2200sfi? I just bought it a few weeks ago and I blew the engine driving it home. There's no engine I need to swap near me even in the junk yards. I did however find one that's 4 1/2 hours away. He wants $200 for a clean engine and transmission with only 98k on them which is a hell of a deal. But I'm finding a **** ton of the 2200s near me. Any info would be great.
