Hi I know absolutely nothing about cars so I need a lot of help. My boyfriend has a 98 cavalier and hes having a lot of problems with it and doesnt have the money to pay for it to get fixed so I'm going to pay for it and i would like to know if anyone knew the prices of getting a new clutch and a new starter kit thing. His car wont shift into 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, or reverse, does this mean I have to get the clutch completely replaced? The problem with it starting is that it takes a lot to get it started and when he does get it started it makes a horrible noise. Sorry I know I sound stupid but I would really like some help. Thank you!!
