Default Cruise control?

I have a 97 cavalier 2dr 2.2l with 51,000 miles in it and it doesnt have cruise control and I would like to add it to the car. Can I buy a stock unit off of EBAY and put it in, what all is there to this is it just the handle that goes on the steering column and you just plug it in or is there more to it? This car is ny daily driver since I cant afford to drive my truck.

Default RE: Cruise control?

way more than just plug and play. What you'll need is an aftermarket cruise bottle for your throttle connection, a clutch switch if its manual, and you have 2 options for the handle. Get an aftermarket handle for easier installation. Or buy an oem handle with cruise and wire it in directly.

Check out this website to read up on it some...if you feel up to the challenge, let us know which method you're taking and we can guide you through it
