Default electrical problems with '03 Cavalier

A few weeks ago as I was driving I had a bunch of issues happen one after another. First, my ABS and my Brake indicator lights both came on. Then, a few minutes later my radio would go static on and off. after a few minutes my radio turned off completely. no static or noise at all. Then, the lights on the radio went off, along with the clock. 10 minutes after that my odometer went blank. I drove it like this for about 5 or six days. My car wouldn't start and I found out my alternator was bad. So, Just this morning I put a new alternator in my car. The car is running fine now. But, I still have all those electrical problems. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how I could fix it?

Thanks!

What about your battery? How old is it?
What voltage is it reading?

Any rust on the posts?

forgot to mention that. I did pick up a new battery when I got the alternator. No rust. It's reading at 14.

What about the braided ground line on the car? How is it?

Is that and the connection clean? Rust free? It's usually a light brown color from what I've seen on gm's.
