hi all,
pretty much this is my first engine swap. here is the low down.

1. (vehicle) 1998 chevy cavalier, automatic, dual over head cam, liter size- unknown (not displayed anywhere visible)

2. (new engine acquired) single over head cam, liter size-unknown (again not displayed) previously used in a chevy cavalier, manual

now for the questions.

1. will this engine work?
A)with the difference in single and dual make calibration of timing "off"
b)does it matter that this engine came from a manual transmission?
C)Assuming the liter size is different will that matter?

If this engine will work without any complications any advice of what to be weary of?

If this engine does not work any advice of what to do to make it? E.G. new ecu or re wiring of systems?

If unsure of weather it will work or will not work please advise me to someone that will know.
