Fuel Sending unit?
Hi all
newbie here looking for a little help. I have a 1987 Chevy Z24 CL V6 2.8 L and my fuel gauge is not registering.
i think it’s the sending unit and would like to know if there is a fix for my original unit or where I can purchase a replacement. GM says that it’s no longer available and Ebay and sites I’ve checked says it not compatible with
with my info?
Any help elm would be appreciated
Thanks

I'd put a new fuel pump in too since the tank is a bear to drop. Advanced Auto is the same as Carquest, btw.

I had a 84 cavalier. Fuel pump was no good. Lot of rust car sat 8 years. I bought a assembly for a 92 cavalier and i swapped a fuel pump for a 84 to replace the actual pump the 92 assembly cause the tbi engine was leas pressure. Worked just fine. So 92 assembly and your 80s style pump swapped into it
