Hard Idle/Burtn Rubber Smell
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum (and am also somewhat new at owning a Chevy), and I really need help!
I've got a 96 Cavie Z24, and late tonight I noticed that the car didn't feel like it was gearing right. When I got out of the car, there was a burnt rubber smell coming from under the hood.
I did some research, and it seems like it might be the serpentine belt. But would that also explain how hard the car is idling, or might that be something else?
I'm hoping to correct the problem before my final today (2:45p), so I'd really appreciate the help!
Thanks!
