Hard shifting
First time here great site. My 99 cavelier with 2.2 automatic 3 speed shifts hard into gear. the car has 250,000 ks on it I had just changed the filter and dont know if it has been changed before. Any advice?

one way to see if your air filter needs changing is to see if it has like black dirt in between the groves. its very simple to change one out and i dont think its all that expensive to buy one.
