Default no lights

yesterday when I was driving home my day light dash indacator light started to flash , when i got home home noticed I had no daytime lights , I switch the headlights on and they weren't working either but if I turn the high beams on they seem to work. I tried changing the day time relay and it did nothing. Now this morning the daytime indacator on the day isn't on ay all anymore. Does anybody have any idea what this might be the vehicle is a 99 cavalier with a 2.2 L.

Always check the fuses first before going on to anything else.

You may have a bad wire in the headlamp harness. This is the most common problem on these cars. You have to trace down the broken wire usually one of the blue ones or have to replace the headlight harness.
