Okay, I usually work on my own vehicles, but this has me baffled!

My car was having tranny issues, i would have to feather the gas peddle in order to get it to shift from first to second and then into 3rd after that it was good to go.... now it wont even stay running. It will run for a couple of seconds, but it really rough and its like it smothers itself out. Press the gas peddle it dies immediately. I am at a loss here. Any help is appreciated.

 

Have you checked the fuel pressure? That is a good place to start out with.

 

Yep, sure have. Its getting pressure. I have been messing with it today, seems like its overloading on fuel as the smell of it is almost overwhelming.
