Default RE: remove radio fm/cd in cavalier 2002

These are fun.......remove the phillips screw from the defrost vent, remove the defrost vent, there are 2 7mm bolts under there. pry off the right side of the dash, 2 mor 7mm under there. open the glove box, 3 or 4 more 7mm there. Peek through the access hole in the glove box and you'll see 2 gold coloured 7mm holding a steel bracket down....remove these. Pry the left side of the dash off, remove another 7mm. The entire top of the dash should come off now. There are clips above the instrument panl so it may be a little tight. Now there are 3 or 4 7mm bolts going straight down into the top of the trim around the radio underneath of the panel you just took off. Start pulling the trim rearward to release the cli[ps and d\c electrical connectors as you go. Carefull with the dimmer switch as it is easy to break. 3 7mm holding the radio in and you're out
