Removing the dashboard / changing the radio in a 2003
Does anyone have any experience removing the dash in order to get to the radio in a 2003 Cavalier? I've found a few forum posts around the 'net, but nothing that was exactly for my model year. I guess my main questions are, for my model year, which part of the dash do I have to remove? The whole thing, part of it, what? Also, where should I expect to find the clips? If you happen to have any illustrations, that would rock...
After a lot of searching, I found an excellent resource for taking the dash apart for installing/replacing a radio. I own a 2003 Cavalier and can confirm that these instructions are very helpful and tell you just about everything you need to know to do this job. I followed these instructions today and it took me about 2 - 2.5 hours to take apart and put back together again. (and I'm pretty careful with stuff)
