Sturdy car?
Hi,
Are Cavaliers known for being a tough little car? I have a 99 and I cliped a guy ( i was going maybe 5 and he maybe 35-45) and all that happend was my bumper got a little messed up and cracked and my fenders tweaked and my alinement got a little messed up (still drivable, $2,000 worth in repairs) . I managed to ripp the guy's door panel off and it got lodged in my bumper. (the jerk ran) Are they sturdy cars or did i just get lucky?

All cars these days are designed with crush zones to absorb collision impacts (so they are not transferred to the driver and passengers). So even in low speed impacts the car can look quite damaged. I would say you got lucky, but Cavaliers are as sturdy as most cars their size.
