Thanks so much for the ones who didn't want to scare me! I am in a bad position right now with my daughter medically. So thanks and I will get my battery looked at. Does anyone know a good mechanic in Pensacola/Gulf Breeze area?

I took it to pep boys (parts store in Florida) and they put it in but then it wouldn't crank for a few minutes. It has always cranked right up. It was almost like my anti theft thing in my jeep that won't let you won't let it start until you unlock the passenger door after the battery has been jumped. My cavalier is very basic so I didn't think it had that. The pep boys man kept trying to get it to crank and after trying to turn over about 10 times it cranked right up. Is that weird? Thanks for all your help.

Hmmm was it turning over or was it clicking? Does it start fine now?
