anyone know how to wire a cavalier for a trailer?

you can go to your local parts store and ask them for the plug in type. you just unplug the tail lights in the trunk plug the trailer lightinto the taillight plug and bingo insant trailer wiring no cuting no fuss.

another just as easy process is what I did

go to local parts store (I went to pepboys)

I bought a universal trailer plug wiring kit $12 (I went with a standard 4 plug connector with self crimping wires)

did a couple crimps (basically a clamp you fold over on the wire) match the color to cars- brake, running, turn signal wires

and your ready

I would also suggest the plug in type, the cost about $15 dollars but you don't have to worry about getting the wires crimped or having bare wire exposed or any of that mess.
